Canyon Church Camp has exciting news!

Since the Kenow Fire eight years ago, we are steadily getting back to camp. This summer, we are hosting two Leadership Development Mini-Camps in Waterton in August:

SESSION 1: Wednesday, August 13 - Friday, August 15 for ages 16-21 years
SESSION 2: Wednesday, August 20 - Friday, August 22 for ages 13-17 years

Location info:

Campers will sleep at Waterton United Church (108 Clematis Avenue).

Drop off at Waterton United Church will be 10 – 10:30 am on Wednesday.

Pick up at the same location 4 – 4:30 pm on Friday.

Cost: $150 per camper

Programming includes:

hiking
games
campfire
vespers
fun meals
creativity
water play
nature
faith explorations

Throughout these experiences, campers will practice both camp-specific and transferable leadership skills such as hiking etiquette, table setting, and leading games and camp songs as well as self-awareness, effective communication, creating safety, and recognizing/responding to needs.

This is an excellent opportunity for future camp counsellors and counsellors-in-training, as well as any youth and young adults who are keen to connect with themselves, each other, and nature through inspiring camp experiences in beautiful Waterton Lakes National Park!
